John has joined forces with local artists, Robin Laffier and Don Graves to establish a new studio, MONTMARTE STUDIO, on Ottawa St., in the heart of the design & textile district. The new studio will be affiliated with 337 Sketch Gallery at 337 Ottawa St. Their first show opens on February 17th at 337 Sketch Gallery and will run to March 17th.

The 3 artists represent an eclectic fine art background. John’s work comprises many types of media focusing on drawing painting in oils (landscapes, portraiture and architecture). Don Graves specializes in oil landscapes of the local area and into northern Ontario and Quebec. And Robin Laffier (www.robinlaffier.com) specializes in ships, transportation, marine scenes and urban landscapes.
