What's New - February 17, 2012
Don has joined forces with local artists, Robin Laffier and John Stirling to establish a new studio, MONTMARTE STUDIO, on Ottawa St., in the heart of the design & textile district. The new studio will be affiliated with 337 Sketch Gallery at 337 Ottawa St. Their first show opens on February 17th at 337 Sketch Gallery and will run to March 17th.
The 3 artists represent an eclectic fine art background. Don specializes in oil landscapes of the local Hamilton/Burlington area and into northern Ontario and Quebec. John Stirling's work comprises many types of media focusing on drawing painting in oils (landscapes, portraiture and architecture). And Robin Laffier (www.robinlaffier.com) specializes in ships, transportation, marine scenes and urban landscapes.
